Downtown San Leandro and Bayfair Center have shops and restaurants. For a business delivery, enter the business name with the street address and the hours someone will be there.
Homes range from older bungalows near downtown to hillside houses in the east. For an apartment or townhome, include the unit number and any gate or call box code.
San Leandro High School and local elementary and middle schools receive flowers through their main offices. Include the staff member’s full name and the event time.
For sympathy flowers to a home, give the family name, a phone number and any timing preferences. For a service, include the venue, the deceased’s full name, the service time and an onsite contact. Our funeral and sympathy flower guide explains timing for formal pieces.

A Portuguese town on the bay
San Leandro is named for Leander of Seville, a sixth-century Spanish bishop. José Joaquín Estudillo’s home, Casa de Estudillo, became a California Historical Landmark in 1938.
The city incorporated on March 21, 1872. By 1910 Portuguese families made up nearly two-thirds of the population.
Casa Peralta at 384 West Estudillo Avenue was built in 1901 and remodeled in 1927. It is now a museum run by the city. About 91,000 people live in San Leandro today.
