San Mateo County flower delivery
We deliver flowers throughout Atherton, a town of large private homes on quiet, tree-lined lanes between El Camino Real and Middlefield Road. Order by 1:00 PM Pacific Time for same-day flowers. Our drivers plan around gated driveways, long setbacks and the school traffic on Valparaiso and Middlefield.
What Makes Us Unique
Before sunrise, our designers are hard at work doing what they do best. Your arrangement is artisan-designed and handcrafted the same day you place your order, using exceptional flowers from trusted growers in California and around the world to ensure freshness, quality, and a one-of-a-kind creation for every special occasion.
We make an early-morning run for funerals, memorials, early events, and other time-sensitive occasions, followed by a mid-afternoon run for residential and business deliveries.

Atherton is almost entirely residential. Most lots are an acre or larger, and many homes sit behind a gate well back from the street. Include a gate code or call box name, the recipient’s phone and whether a housekeeper or estate staff can accept the flowers.
The town has no commercial zoning, so there are no shops or offices to deliver to. For a home office, give the name of the person who will receive the flowers and the hours someone is there.
Menlo School, Sacred Heart Schools and Menlo College all have Atherton campuses. Flowers go to the main office or reception desk. Include the staff member’s full name and the event time for graduations, recitals and receptions.
Holbrook-Palmer Park at 150 Watkins Avenue is a 22-acre town park with three rental spaces: the Main House, Jennings Pavilion and the Carriage House. For a wedding or party there, include the venue name, the event start time and a contact who will be onsite.
The nearest hospitals are Sequoia Hospital at 170 Alameda de las Pulgas in Redwood City and Stanford Hospital at 500 Pasteur Drive on the Stanford campus. Include the patient’s full name and room number if you know it. Our hospital and care facility guide lists the details most hospitals ask for.
For sympathy flowers to a home, give the family name, a phone number and any timing preferences. For a service, include the venue, the deceased’s full name, the service time and an onsite contact. Our funeral and sympathy flower guide explains timing for formal pieces.
Atherton takes its name from Faxon Dean Atherton, a 19th-century landowner whose estate covered much of the area. Residents incorporated the town on September 12, 1923, partly to avoid being annexed by Redwood City or Menlo Park.
Holbrook-Palmer Park was once a private estate. It was donated to the town in 1958 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Atherton’s Caltrain station closed in 2020. Today the nearest stations are in Redwood City and Menlo Park.
